Thanks for Van Persie Arsenal.

Arsenal 1-1 Man United. Walcott scored inside 2 minutes and Robin Van Persie equalized with his 25th goal of the season. Arsenal did do the Guard of honor for Manchester United, with Robin Van Persie getting loads of boos.

Reading and QPR tied, so both are going down to the Championship.

6-0

The title really says it. Liverpool won 6-0 against Newcastle United today with a brace by former Chelsea reserve Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson, along with Daniel Agger's 3rd minute goal and 1 more from Fabio Borini. Newcastle even lost a player, Mathieu Debuchy, in the 75th minute.

Also, Athletic Bilbao tied Barcelona 2-2 on a late equalizer from Ander Herrera.

All german final?

So yesterday Dortmund beat Real 4-1. That along with Bayern winning 4-0 over Barcelona means that the spanish teams have their work cut out for them to advance to Wembley. If not, it will be a historically messed up Champions League final, being an all-german final at Wembley, England's greatest stadium.

90th minute.... again......

So today was a Champions League day, with Malaga- Dortmund, and Galatasaray-Real Madrid.
First off, Gala vs Real. I think we all knew who was going to go through, but Gala didn't go out without a fight, so props to them.  Even when they conceded in the 7th minute, they kept fighting and were soon 3-1 up, only for Ronaldo to be Ronaldo, in the 90th minute.
But the big game was Malaga and Dortmund. Bayern had previously got all the spotlight for winning the Bundesliga in record time, and having your arch rivals do that must have hurt a bit. Well, the dark horse Malaga scored in the 23rd minute to ultimately put the pressure on Dortmund, who responded with Lewandowski in the 40th minute. Elliseu then put Malaga 2-1 up, making it almost impossible for Dortmund to come back. But Marco Reus gave a lifeline of hope in the first minute of stoppage time, and then Santana scored finishing the job for the germans.

Manchester reign.

Man City beat Chelsea 2-1 at Wembley in the F.A. Cup Semi Final. Now they play in an almost impossible game to lose against Wigan in the final. With Man Utd locking up the Premier League, it looks like there will be a Manchester double.

Wigan in the F.A. Cup final?!

So yeah, Wigan is in the F.A. Cup final. They have never been there. The closest they have been is the League Cup in 2005, when they lost 4-0 to Manchester United.
